ever wonder what the name of that tree is you walk past? or the flower that smells like fresh air? the vine you hold open for the person behind you?

welcome to a little library of plants for those of you who are also thorny for a stronger connection to the land we can habitually walk on and sometimes right on by.

i want to walk more in the land, through and with it. would like to get to know the characters of some new plants. for me that might happen most effectively through pictures, poems, and also relevant people policy.

my library collects thorny plants because of this project’s name, plus it helps narrow the incredibly expansive array of these growing, waving, earth friends so we can get to know them more one by one. But for anyone who wants to make their own library shelf and share it, please do it! i would love nothing more.
